In the beginning...
Every great story begins with a question. For years, I found myself drawn to stories of loss, redemption, and the choices that shape our lives. This book is the culmination of that fascination—a journey through grief, faith, and the enduring hope that even our deepest wounds can lead us toward something greater.
Early Influences
My fascination with storytelling began many years ago at bedtime in my daughter's room. It was there that I discovered the power of a well-placed word and the profound impact a story can have on the imagination. Those early experiences shaped my desire to create stories that spark wonder, stir curiosity, and invite readers into worlds they never want to leave.
The Creative Process
Writing The Temptation of Time was a journey that began with a pondering thought:
If Satan could change one thing about the past, what would it be?
After much thought and reflection, the answer came late one evening. He would do everything in his power to prevent Jesus Christ from being crucified on the cross.
With that realization, the story was born.
Though I have written a number of manuscripts, both short and novel-length, this is the series I chose as my debut release. Daniel's journey is ultimately a story about loss, healing, and learning how to move forward when life has been forever changed.
It is my hope that somewhere within those pages, you will be reminded that grace is never beyond reach.
Milestones & Memories
Today, I continue to write, create, and share stories that inspire hope and encourage reflection while working on the upcoming books in the Time Trilogy, including The Echoes of Eden and The Kingdom of Ash and Fire. Every experience, milestone, and adventure has become part of a larger narrative, one that reminds me that the most meaningful paths are often the ones that lead us toward purpose, deeper understanding, and the people who matter most.
Looking back, I am grateful for every chapter along the way. Those moments have taught me that life is a collection of experiences, some filled with joy, others marked by loss, challenge, and unexpected grace. As both a writer and a person of faith, I believe the best books do more than entertain. They remind us that light can be found in the darkest places, that redemption is always possible, and that every life holds meaning worth discovering.
